The Infinix Hot 5 is not really a massive upgrade from its predecessor. There are minor changes that I have listed below, do remember that being a budget smartphone there isn’t much we can expect from Infinix to include.

Cinema Surround Front Speakers

Powered by the DIRAC 3D Surround technology, the Infinix Hot 5 includes 2 superb speakers for an excellent music and movie watching experience. The DIRAC 3d sound widening technology ensures everyone around can hear media play. Since most brands including Samsung, Huawei, and Mi have developed excellent superior sound transmission, Infinix has followed the trend.

A Massive Battery

Tested to standby for well close to 2 days, the Infinix Hot 5 brings the similar 400mAH battery as in the Hot 4. The bigger change is the support the battery gets from the improved XOS Chameleon. The operating system constantly works to ensure the battery is preserved for more important tasks, minimizing screen timeouts and optimizing app usage.

The Infinix Hot 5 will also feature XOS Chameleon 2.2, not the latest but a great operating system with an improved UI from the Hot 4. XOS Chameleon 2.2 is known to improve battery life, supports camera, and optimizes the user experience by prioritizing apps. The OS determines which services are most used and launches those apps faster.
